Jennifer Killham

Jenn is a lead within the learning experience design team. In her design work, she strives to spark intellectual curiosity, nurture high-impact engagement, and increase equitable access. She draws upon a decade’s worth of experience in client-centered solutions and asset-based mindsets to help instill the belief that all design “pain points” have solutions. Jenn earned her doctoral degree from the University of Cincinnati, where she researched online simulation games. Her background spans a variety of fields including research, education, and gameful learning. She specializes in equity-minded learning solutions and voice-centered data analysis. While at Labs, she has supported several projects including Flourish and WGU Creates! Jenn has authored more than 20 publications within the theme of innovative and social justice-minded education, many of which have been collaboratively written with practitioners working in the field. In her free time, she amplifies diverse voices within the field of game development by spearheading an international volunteer mentoring organization.
