Anne Mangahas

Senior Design Manager

Dr. Anne Mangahas has served in the field of education for over 20 years as an educator, leader, and learning experience designer. Her research, scholarship, and work expand to STEM education, teaching and learning, faculty development, and equity-based strategies to promote greater access to education for underserved and historically marginalized groups. She has served in various roles across education as Assistant Professor of Teacher Education and Directors of the Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL), Center for Learning Innovation (CLI), and Sr. Director of Academic Affairs for various minority-serving institutions, and has worked on a number of grants including a Title III HSI STEM Grant awarded by the U.S. Dept. of Education and the National Science Foundation, and received an award with her team from Branch Alliance for Educator Diversity to expand access and diversify teacher education pipelines. In her role as Sr. Manager of Learning Experience Design with WGU Labs, Dr. Mangahas supports her team of talented designers to create content that is student-centered and equity-driven.
